China Supplier Verification for UAE Buyers
GulfCN is a Dubai-based China sourcing company (office in Meydan, Dubai). Before you pay a deposit, we check the Chinese supplier behind the quotation: who the company is, what its documents show, whether it is a manufacturer or a trading company, and whether it fits your product, volume and export needs. Depending on the situation, our own China-side team also visits the factory — often while searching for a manufacturer. You receive a written verification report with a recommendation. A full on-site factory audit of lines, capacity and processes is a separate service.

Why Supplier Verification Matters
A supplier can look legitimate online but still be unsuitable for the actual order. Chinese supplier verification is the commercial step that tests the counterpart against the brief before first payment.
- Company identity — who is actually behind the quotation
- Manufacturing or supply capability for the requested goods
- Product fit against the specification
- Whether the party is a manufacturer, a trading company, or another supplier type, where this can be established
- Quotation and commercial terms against the brief
- Consistency between the supplier and the requested product
This is a practical supplier check in China. It does not claim that most Chinese suppliers are fraudulent, and it is not a government or legal compliance certificate.

What we check in supplier documents and information
Company identity and registration
The registered company name and details match the quotation, invoice and bank details provided. The check asks who is actually behind the offer.
Business license and business scope
The business license as provided, and whether the registered business scope covers manufacturing or trading of the requested product.
Registered capital and company age
Registered capital and company age as shown in the documents and registration information available. They are read as an indicator, not a guarantee of capacity.
Manufacturer or trading company
Signs that the counterpart makes the product itself or resells another maker's goods, where this can be established from documents and information.
Export capability
Whether the company can export directly and has export experience relevant to the order, as stated and evidenced in documents.
Certifications and test reports shown
Whether certificates provided by the supplier match the company name and the product.
Product and production capability
Product relevance, MOQ and stated production capacity against your brief.
Commercial terms and communication
Quotation, payment terms and the consistency of communication against the brief.
Factory location and site check
The address in the documents versus the address given. Where the situation requires, our China-side team visits the factory to confirm it in person.
Checks are made where the information is available; a site visit is made when the situation requires it. Verification is not a legal opinion or a government certificate.

Red flags we look for
- Company name on the quotation differs from the license or bank account
- Business scope does not cover the product
- A trading company presents itself as a factory
- Certificates issued to another company or another product
- Export claims not supported by documents
- Price or terms inconsistent with the brief
- Inconsistent answers in communication
A red flag is a reason to ask more questions or move to a factory audit, not a final verdict.

Verify a Chinese supplier when the commercial decision still sits with the buyer — typically before money and production are committed.

Supplier verification vs factory audit vs quality control vs production monitoring
These are separate checks. Verification looks at the supplier; an audit at the site; QC at the goods. A factory audit is a full on-site inspection of the production site. The two are not the same and are not merged on this page.

What is supplier verification in China?
It is a commercial check of a Chinese supplier before the buyer places the order. GulfCN reviews supplier information, product capability and commercial fit against the brief.
Why should I verify a Chinese supplier before ordering?
A supplier can look legitimate online and still be a poor fit for the actual product, MOQ, lead time or company behind the quotation. Verification is done before you commit.
Can GulfCN verify a supplier I already found?
Yes. Send the supplier details, quotation or link with the product specification. GulfCN can verify a supplier found independently as well as one identified during sourcing.
Do you verify manufacturers in China?
Yes. GulfCN verifies Chinese suppliers, including manufacturers where that is the counterpart, and notes supplier type where it can be established.
What happens if a supplier is not suitable?
GulfCN reports the findings and the concerns. The buyer is not asked to place the order on an unsuitable counterpart. Another supplier can be considered against the same brief.
Is supplier verification the same as quality control?
No. Supplier verification is before the order. Quality control is a check of the goods before shipment.
What documents do you check when verifying a Chinese supplier?
The business license and business scope, registration information, registered capital where available, export documents and any certificates the supplier provides. We check that they match the company behind the quotation and the requested product.
Can you tell if the supplier is a factory or a trading company?
Where this can be established from documents and information, the report states whether the counterpart is a manufacturer or a trading company. Physical confirmation of the production site is done in a factory audit.
Does supplier verification include a factory visit?
It can. Depending on the situation, our China-side team visits the factory, often while searching for a manufacturer. A full factory audit of lines, capacity and processes is a separate service.
What does the verification report include?
Supplier information, verification findings, relevant commercial information, identified concerns or inconsistencies, and a recommendation on suitability. A sample report is not published.
What happens after verification?
If the supplier is suitable, you can move to the order, a factory audit, production monitoring and quality control before shipment. If not, another supplier can be considered against the same brief.
