Pasta Production Equipment from China for a Dubai Manufacturer
From a production brief to a working extrusion line in China
A Dubai food manufacturer needed a pasta extrusion line for short-cut tubular pasta and wanted to see a Chinese machine run that process — not only a catalogue photograph.
GulfCN took the brief to a China trade fair, inspected extrusion equipment in operation and recorded how the dough is formed into a consistent tubular format.
The buyer stays in Dubai. The factory work was on the ground in China.
The brief
A Dubai food manufacturer needed a pasta extrusion line for short-cut tubular pasta: continuous extrusion, stable feed, industrial barrel and die, ridged tubes of consistent diameter and cut length, replaceable dies for other shapes, stainless-steel food-contact parts, and a practical operator panel. Commercial production, not a laboratory machine.
The job was to identify a suitable Chinese line, see that process running in China, and verify the equipment before the client moved forward.
What the buyer needed from the manufacturer
Capacity, power, dimensions and weight, available dies, die-change procedure, spare parts, warranty, lead time and commercial terms.
On the ground in China
GulfCN identified relevant manufacturers and inspected equipment where it was running. The team documented the line with photos and video so the Dubai client could see the process without travelling for the first evaluation.
One machine showed extrusion in real time: dough into the barrel, through the die, cut as ridged tubular pasta into the crate. That was information a quotation sheet does not give.
Looking beyond the catalogue
A machine can look complete in a brochure and still be the wrong configuration. The questions on this job were whether the line ran consistently, whether the build was suitable for production — not only a stand demo — and whether the manufacturer could change dies and adapt the setup.

What shipped
The line configuration inspected in China: an industrial extrusion line for short-cut ridged tubular pasta — continuous feed, barrel and die, cut length on the stand, food-contact stainless parts. Not a catalogue substitute and not a laboratory machine.
Where it landed
The buyer’s production site in Dubai. GulfCN’s job on this case stopped at delivery to that site. Installation and daily production stay with the manufacturer and the buyer.
What the client saw before the line moved
While the buyer stayed in Dubai they received the on-stand record: dough into the barrel, through the die, cut as ridged tubes into the crate — plus stills of the hopper, die and finished pasta. That pack was the go / no-go evidence. Commercial terms sit on the UAE sourcing page, not here.
